Maltepe Dental Clinic (MDC) was founded on a simple yet powerful vision: to provide exceptional dental care with a patient-centered approach. What started as a small one-chair clinic in 2002 has evolved into a trusted name in international dentistry, with multiple locations and a commitment to innovation and patient satisfaction.
Dr. Alper Gürhan and Dr. Yusuf İlhan opened the doors of their first dental clinic in Maltepe, Istanbul. With just one treatment room, they built their practice on trust, precision, and a passion for excellence. For seven years, they dedicated themselves to providing top-quality dental care to their community.
As their reputation grew, so did the demand for their services. In 2009, MDC moved to a larger facility within the Maltepe district, expanding its team and treatment capacity. This move allowed the clinic to introduce new technologies and enhance patient care. During this period, MDC began welcoming its first international patients, starting with visitors from Germany and gradually expanding to patients worldwide.
With a growing number of international patients from 85+ countries, MDC took a significant step forward by opening a consultation office in London. This move made initial consultations and treatment planning more convenient for UK-based patients, strengthening MDC’s presence in global dental tourism.
As the clinic’s patient base expanded, so did the need for a more advanced facility. In 2021, MDC relocated to a prestigious new location in Kadıköy, one of Istanbul’s most central and vibrant districts, just minutes from the Bosphorus. Spanning five floors, the new clinic features seven fully equipped treatment rooms, an in-house dental laboratory, and cutting-edge CT scan units, offering comprehensive dental solutions under one roof.

Dr. Yusuf İlhan officially registered in the UK, allowing MDC to enhance its services for London-based patients. With this milestone, MDC began offering structured pre-treatment consultations and aftercare support in London, ensuring a seamless patient journey.
