Even with high standards, rare post-treatment issues can occur. This page explains what is covered, for how long, how to request support, and when a guarantee (warranty) may be reduced or void.
Important: Guarantee periods are not the same as a treatment’s life expectancy. Long-term success depends on proper oral hygiene, routine check-ups, and following the dentist’s instructions.
Clinic correction (in Istanbul): When an issue is covered, we cover the necessary dental + laboratory costs to correct it at our clinic.
Home-country contribution (one-time): For minor repairs that can be safely handled locally, we may contribute up to the specified amount.
Travel expense contribution (one-time, limited): In covered cases, we contribute up to €150 toward travel expenses, subject to the conditions stated below.
Many clinics advertise “lifetime implant guarantee,” but this often refers only to the manufacturer’s material warranty. In our policy:
The implant screw (fixture) is covered against fracture/breakage for the lifetime of the material.
We additionally provide a 10-year guarantee for the implant treatment.
If an implant fails within 10 years, we will replace it once at no charge, provided no invalidating condition applies (see exclusions). (You mention ~5% global failure rate in the text; keep it optional or position as “reported in literature” without over-claiming.)
Covered: breakage, chipping, cement failure for 5 years.
For minor repairs (e.g., white composite restoration, re-cementing), we provide a one-time contribution up to €100 for treatment in your home country, when appropriate.
Covered: breakage, chipping, and cement failure for 3 years.
Minor repair support: one-time contribution up to €100 (e.g., composite repair, re-bonding), when appropriate.
Covered: filling falling away from the natural tooth for 3 years.
Minor repair support: one-time contribution up to €30, when appropriate.
Covered: breakage, chipping, cement failure for 3 years.
Minor repair support: one-time contribution up to €100, when appropriate.
Covered: breakage for 2 years.
Minor repair support: one-time contribution up to €100, when appropriate.
If a treatment was initiated by another clinic and we were asked to complete it, we cannot monitor the full clinical process. Therefore, we do not guarantee treatments started elsewhere.
The guarantee may be reduced or void if:
Post-treatment instructions are not followed
Oral hygiene is neglected
No routine dental check-up + professional cleaning at least once per year (invoice required)
Dentist instructions are not followed
Removable restorations (partial/full dentures) are not maintained properly
Gum tissue or bone recedes/deteriorates
Accidental damage (traffic accident, sports injury, etc.)
Systemic conditions affecting oral health (e.g., diabetes, epilepsy, osteoporosis, chemotherapy/radiotherapy)
Smoking is the cause of dental issues
Jewellery/materials attached to teeth/tongue/lips
Excessive grinding (bruxism)
Bite guard provided but not worn as advised
Our London partner clinic provides aftercare and follow-up for UK-based patients closer to home. All primary treatment and laboratory work are delivered in Istanbul, so the official guarantee terms are provided by our Istanbul clinic, where the full clinical and technical process takes place.
London aftercare support may include:

Minor adjustments or small touch-ups when required
Most aftercare needs are minor. In rare cases where a more extensive correction is required—especially when the original laboratory work or specialized equipment is involved—our Istanbul clinic will invite the patient back to Istanbul and manage the correction under the applicable guarantee terms.
This level of support covers what the vast majority of patients ever need. Thanks to our structured treatment protocol, in-house laboratory, and multiple quality-control checks during treatment, long-term complications are uncommon.
If any issue does arise, around 95% of cases involve minor adjustments that can be comfortably managed at our London partner clinic.
In the rare event that a more extensive correction is required—such as when the original laboratory work or specialized equipment is involved—our Istanbul clinic will invite the patient back to Istanbul and handle the correction in accordance with the applicable guarantee terms. These situations are very uncommon, but we believe in being transparent so our patients always know what to expect.
Thanks to our in-house lab, you can select your preferred shade and shape. Before final fitting, we confirm your approval. After you approve and restorations are fitted, we cannot be held responsible for later preference changes.
In some cases, trauma to the tooth during crown/bridge procedures may lead to the need for root canal treatment. We provide necessary treatment based on the clinical condition during your stay.
If additional root canal treatment is needed within 1 month after your treatment, we provide a one-time contribution up to €100 for care in your home country. After 1 month, we are not liable for issues that were not foreseeable at the time of treatment.
Due to biological variability, we do not guarantee root canal treatment.
